How To Frolic: A Guide For Beginners

We've emerged, blinking into the springtime sunlight, after the longest winter we've ever experienced. I feel like I've had to re-teach myself how to deal with sunlight and warmth! There have been far too many times when I've gone to work in a coat and regretted it on the way home. However, I'm still pretty suspicious of the weather and I feel like if I start going without a coat, I'll be caught in a torrential downpour. Because that's how these things work.
My favourite part of the week is watching all the commuters and city workers letting their hair down on a Friday afternoon. There's such a feeling of weekend camaraderie, and everyone seems to be filled with contentment. Businessmen loosen their ties and cool beers are consumed on the way home from work. You just don't get that in the winter.

There's still a load of scaffolding up on the back of our house, but nobody seems to be working on it anymore... Very bizarre. But on the plus side, it makes for some excellent frolicking! Here I am, failing to do a pull-up. I don't have the grip strength! Still, it's fun to swing around like a child. Observe my ridiculous backwards elbow...

In other news, my hair is getting super long. I'm doing that thing wot people do, and growing it for the wedding. I thought that having long hair would mean I wore it in different styles every day, but I am too lazy. I think I'll have to make an effort to make the most of my long hair, and try out some new styles. Any suggestions? I'm pretty lost when it comes to long hair!

I'd like to make it known that I did NOT break that bench! It was already broken when we moved into this flat! We're looking for a new place to move into, which is pretty stressful. It's also less than two months until the wedding, and there's still so much preparation to do! I can't wait to share some of the details! I'm in the process of collecting old family photos to include in a big collaged display. It's going to be propa nostalgic like. Also, stay tuned for a round-up of my favourite necklaces (basically my necklace wishlist, let's not lie!).
